Jean Baptiste SANDE is the Chief Finance Officer of Rwanda Finance Limited, the company promoting and developing Rwanda as a leading financial destination for international investment and cross-border transactions in Africa.

Jean Baptiste is a professional Accountant with over 10 years of experience both in the public sector and the private sector. He was among the team leading the Government of Rwanda to migrate to the accrual basis of accounting compliant with the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).

Prior to joining Rwanda Finance, Jean Baptiste worked at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN), in charge of state-consolidated financial statements for 5 years. He also worked in Rwanda Revenue Authority, AB Bank Rwanda, and the National University of Rwanda.

Jean Baptiste is a chartered accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Rwanda (ICPAR). He holds a Master’s Degree of Science in Finance from the University of Kigali and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the National University of Rwanda.
