Winnie KABATESI is the Chief Finance Officer at the Kigali International Financial Centre, a financial centre facilitating international investment and cross-border transactions in Africa.
KIFC’s mandate is to position Rwanda as a preferred financial jurisdiction for investments in Africa by offering an attractive, competitive, and investor-friendly environment, fully compliant with international best practices.
Winnie has extensive experience in public accounting, financial management, and grants management.
Prior to joining KIFC, Winnie worked at Plan International Rwanda and the Ministry of Public Service and Labor, where she oversaw the accounting departments for the two respective institutions.
Winnie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Mbarara University of Science and Technology. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), accredited by the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB).
