Marie Gisele DUKUZE is the Legal and Compliance Officer of Rwanda Finance Limited, the company promoting and developing Rwanda as a leading financial destination for international investment and cross-border transactions in Africa.
Gisele is a lawyer by profession and has experience in Corporate Law, Commercial Transactions, Intellectual Property Law, and International Financial Crimes. She is also a member of an Ad hoc Committee mandated to ensure Rwanda’s compliance with ESAAMLG/FATF recommendations.
Prior to joining Rwanda Finance, Gisele worked at CEDAR ARK LAW as a Legal Associate.
Gisele holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Rwanda, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development in Rwanda and currently pursuing an LLM in International Business Law from the University of Liverpool. She is also a Certified KYC and CDD Professional by the International Compliance Association, United Kingdom.
