Wellars HATEGEKIMANA is the Internal Auditor of Rwanda Finance Limited, the company promoting and developing Rwanda as a leading financial destination for international investment and cross-border transactions in Africa.
Wellars is a Certified Accountant with 13 years of experience in audit and finance in the public sector.
Prior to joining Rwanda Finance, Wellars worked at the Office of the Auditor General of State Finances, where he left as Senior Principal Auditor. He also worked as Chief Accountant at the University of Rwanda (Former Kigali Health Institute).
Wellars holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting sciences from the University of Rwanda (former NUR). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR).
