The Africa Early-Stage Investor Summit (AESIS) is an annual summit that started in 2013 with the goal of attracting key decision-makers, investors, and thought leaders from across the African continent. The summit focuses on advancing strategic investments and economic growth by connecting public and private sector leaders. It provides a platform to discuss emerging opportunities, industry trends, and policy frameworks that enhance Africa’s competitiveness in the global economy.
This year, KIFC is partnering with the timbuktoo Africa Innovation Foundation to host a breakaway 45-minute session on « Empowering African Startups: The Future of Collaborative Funding. » The session will explore how co-investment frameworks and matching funds can mobilize more capital to support Africa’s early-stage companies.
Timbuktoo will join us for an insightful fireside chat on how their initiatives are reshaping collaborative financing for African ventures. RFL will also share insights on Rwanda’s strategy for catalyzing investment through co-investment platforms, demonstrating how targeted partnerships and funding structures are supporting sustainable growth across sectors.
