Ahead of the official Global Forum Peer Review Assessment on Rwanda, happening in October 2023, the Global Forum Secretariat conducted a mock assessment to review the implementation progress of Global Forum Standards on transparency and exchange of information for tax purposes. Establishing a legal and regulatory framework that complies with Global Forum international transparency requirements is important for KIFC, as it positions itself to become a fully compliant jurisdiction that attracts international investment and cross-border transactions.
