Annabella UWINEZA is the Technical Advisor to the CEO at the Kigali International Financial Centre, a financial centre facilitating international investment and cross-border transactions in Africa.
KIFC’s mandate is to position Rwanda as a preferred financial jurisdiction for investments in Africa by offering an attractive, competitive, and investor-friendly environment, fully compliant with international best practices.
Prior to joining KIFC, Annabella held leadership roles, including at ECO, a fintech company in the crypto space, and in senior banking positions at Fifth Third Bank in the US. In these roles, she developed and executed consultative sales strategies and streamlined processes, driving exponential growth and strengthening financial operations.
A seasoned professional, Annabella excels in optimizing processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and contributing to the growth of the financial sector.
Annabella currently serves as a board member of Asoferwa, a women’s foundation focused on empowering women and fostering social development in Rwanda. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from DePaul University in Chicago.
